Every parent wants to make sure their children have the best possible experience when visiting a Disney park. But before you can hop on a ride or take in the sights, it’s important to understand some of the restrictions that come with bringing a stroller into the parks.

Let’s break down what you need to know about stroller restrictions at Disney parks so you dont get caught out.

Size And Weight Requirements

Disney has strict size and weight requirements for strollers brought into its parks. All strollers must be 31” (78 cm) wide or smaller and 52” (132 cm) long or smaller. Strollers also cannot weigh more than 100 lbs (45 kg).

Keep in mind that if your stroller does not meet these requirements, you may be asked to check it outside of the park gates. This means that you will not be able to access it until you leave the park at the end of your visit. We have a checked out the best Disney approved strollers.

Strollers As Seats

Parents can use their stroller as a seat provided they are with their child at all times during their time in line and they do not block guests from entering/exiting an area.

You should always plan ahead and bring along items such as blankets, chairs, or booster seats so that their child has somewhere comfortable to sit while waiting in line or dining out.

Storage Space

When visiting Disney parks, it’s important to remember that there is no space for storing large items such as wagons, wheelchairs, double-wide strollers, etc., so these items will need to remain outside of the park gates if they don’t meet size and weight requirements.

Additionally, any loose items should never be left unattended in public areas; instead store them away securely in your personal belongings or rent one of Disney's lockers for extra storage space if needed.
